Max Green (also known as Maxwell Scott Green) is an American musician who was the bassist and backing vocalist for the rock band Escape the Fate. He was born on December 15, 1984, in Dayton, Ohio, and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Green joined Escape the Fate in 2004 and contributed to the band's first two albums, "Dying is Your Latest Fashion" (2006) and "This War Is Ours" (2008). He also co-wrote several songs, including the hit single "Something."
During his time with the band, Green struggled with drug addiction and ultimately had to leave the group in 2012 to focus on his recovery. He later admitted that his addiction had started to affect his performance and relationship with his bandmates.
After leaving Escape the Fate, Green formed a new band called Violent New Breed, which released an EP in 2013. However, the group disbanded soon after.
In 2017, Green reunited with Escape the Fate for a one-off show in Las Vegas and later performed on the band's album "I Am Human" (2018) as a guest vocalist. He remains active in the music industry today, having worked with other bands such as Falling in Reverse and Ghost Town.
